There is no gainsaying that BBNaija, the biggest reality TV show in Africa, is all to the good.

Housemates have become millionaires on BBNaija

Apart from the hundreds of crew members working behind the scenes and getting a day’s job, and apart from the prize money which sets the winner up for life, the participants — win the show or not — get their fix with the mouthwatering rewards of cash prizes, fame, endorsements, all-expense paid trips and many more.

The Level Up season, of course, is not any different. Even though one person is to go home with the ₦100 million grand prize, other housemates, too, run into goldmines, exploiting the ample opportunities to grasp the rewards that abound through the plethora of tasks that dot the reality TV show.

While some have strived hard to win, others have been fortunate to snap up the prizes attached to tasks. In any case, we revisit the housemates who have become millionaires during the BBNaija Level Up Season.

Chomzy

Chomzy, despite her eviction from the BBNaija house, tops the list of the wealthiest housemates in the Level Up season. Some of her wins include the Supa Komando task, where she won ₦2.5 million alongside Adekunle; the Close Up task, where she won ₦250,000; the Guinness Smooth task, where she snapped up ₦500,000, the Airtel task where she won ₦220,000 and the Pepsi task where she received ₦2.5 million. She also won ₦250,000 from Arla Nigeria and ₦300,000 from Munch It.

Overall, Chomzy has amassed up to ₦7,100.000 million and won herself an expense-paid trip to Cape Town. While some weigh in that Chomzy’s success has been down to luck, others believe she simply has the knack for competition. One thing is sure, though: she has become a millionaire and must be proud of herself.

Bryann

Singing his way through some of the creative tasks, Bryann has not only saved his team members in tasks with his musical talent but has also received rewards for it. Bryann is currently the second richest under the auspices of the Level Up tasks, and the cherry on the cake is that he’s still in the running for the grand prize.

Some of his wins include ₦300,000 courtesy of Knorr, ₦250,000 courtesy of Close Up, ₦500,000 courtesy of Guinness Smooth, and ₦2.5 million from Pepsi. He will also receive three months supply of groceries courtesy of Amazon Food and an all-expense paid trip to South Africa courtesy of Pepsi. This put his wins at approximately ₦4.5 million. No mean feat if you asked me.

Adekunle

Adekunle, who has made his way to the reality TV show’s final week and is in the running for the grand prize, has also become a millionaire. Some of his wins include ₦250,000 from Close Up, ₦2.5 million from Supa Komando, ₦1,760,000 from Quidax, and a trip to Cape Town courtesy of Pepsi.

Known for his fluency, effective presentation skills and calm demeanor in task presentations, Adekunle has exploited his talents to rise in tasks and won fans over with them. His wins stand at about ₦4.5 million.

Dotun

Courtesy of Oraimo, Allysyn, Hermes, Daniella, Kess and Dotun won ₦1m, delivery of every new Oraimo product for a year, VIP tickets to Oraimo December events, and an all-expense paid trip to Zanzibar. Beyond that, Dotun won ₦500,000 courtesy of Guinness, ₦1m from TravelBeta, ₦1,760,000 from Quidax, and an all-expense paid trip to South Africa courtesy of Pepsi.

Despite his eviction, Dotun walks away from the reality TV show with over ₦3,500,000 and a future full of potential.

Deji

Deji Morafa was one of the last set of housemates to be introduced into the Big Brother house, but he quickly rose through the ranks and made an impression during tasks. Before his eviction, he amassed about ₦3.5 million in cash prizes and also won a trip to Cape Town with the rest of his fellow housemates. Some of his wins include ₦250,000 from Arla Nigeria, ₦500,000 from TravelBeta, ₦220,000 from Airtel, ₦1,760,000 from Quidax, and ₦2.5 million from Pepsi.

Other millionaires include Groovy, who amassed up to ₦3 million, Sheggz with ₦2.8m, and Daniella and Hermes with over ₦2.5 million each. Rachel and Allysyn come next with over ₦2 million, and Chichi, the penultimate HoH, has won ₦1.5 million.

BBNaija is a ride of a lifetime, putting participants on a transport of delight. And boy, will the housemates be delighted to have become millionaires in less than ten weeks.
