Colombo, March 27 (NewsWire) – The price of gold has dropped slightly in Sri Lanka at present, local gold merchants reported.
Accordingly, the price of a 22-karat sovereign costs Rs. 158,300 today (27), a drop from last Friday’s rate of Rs. 161,000.
Meanwhile, the price of a 24-karat gold sovereign is Rs. 172,000 today. This is a drop from Friday’s rate of Rs. 175,000.
