At the beginning of the season, Big Brother jokingly suggested to Cee-C in a diary session that he built a dock for the ships that weren’t sailing, and now, more than ever, there seems to be a need to act on that thought. The All-Stars’ alliances and ships could use a rescue team because the majority of them are beginning to sink.
The big shots of the Pepper Dem gang lost a member when Frodd was evicted and this has left Mercy Eke antsy for the most part. The next morning after the eviction, she was spotted telling everyone and no one in particular not to provoke her this week because there would be “vawulence”. For some reason, she’s also started to pick fights with her ex-lover, Ike, for unclear reasons.
TolaniBaj also happened to be evicted on Sunday night and viewers noticed that her ‘comfort person’, NeoEnergy, appears to be doing just fine. Some are even saying he’s breathing better because he’s ‘finally free’, but on a more serious note, NeoEnergy might have lost the one person who was loyal to him in the house. He said in a diary session earlier in the show that TolaniBaj was the one person whom he was sure had his back in the house, even more than his cousin, Venita. So, would he be forming any new alliances? We’ll find out in due time.
Doyin and Ilebaye long since fell out and are no longer besties. Doyin feels like she had been too good a friend to Ilebaye, whom she claimed had not returned the same energy and Ilebaye has chosen to keep a distance from her. Although Ilebaye claimed was hurt that Doyin didn’t pick her as a BFF after winning the Head of House games, she also said that she wouldn’t have agreed to be Doyin’s BFF if she had picked her.
The Adenita ship seems to be doing fine, but the simple thumbs up Adekunle gave in response to Ebuka’s question of whether he and Venita were officially an item had the viewers asking questions. Regardless, their ship is the only one sailing smoothly, seeing that Soma and Angel fall out so often; one day, they’re loving up on each other, and the next day, they’re not even speaking. We hope all is well.
On the bright side of all this, we’re witnessing what might be the beginning of a new ship in the Big Brother house. Lately, Cee-C and Ike have been seen together more often than not. Cee-C said in a diary session that she intends to take her friendship with Ike to the next level and that anyone who wasn’t okay with it should ‘ask for voluntary exit’. Interesting.
