A group of teenagers are on the run after allegedly smashing their way into two Queensland businesses early on Tuesday morning.

Six teens allegedly rammed a ute through the front of Ultimate Motorbikes in Springwood, where they attempted to steal two motorbikes, getting away with one.

Police allege the same group broke into an IGA in Daisy Hill ten minutes before that robbery, getting away with cigarettes.

The ute used to slam through the store was allegedly stolen from a home in Varsity Lakes overnight.

The owner of Ultimate Motorbikes told 9News that he was devastated, and estimated that the cost of repairs would go into the thousands.

Police say the group is still on the run.
