David ‘Davido’ Adeleke has pledged the sum of 300 million naira in collaboration with his foundation to orphanages around the country.
The Grammy-nominated artiste revealed this via his social media accounts on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
‘I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria, as my yearly contribution to the Nation, details of disbursement tomorrow’ he said.
He revealed that this philanthropic act is his yearly contribution to the society and nation at large. This is not the first time the 30BG president will be giving out to orphanages across Nigeria.
Fans of the music star have applauded him for his donations. One fan said, ‘God bless your heart, KING DAVID!’
In November 2021, he gave N250 million to 292 Nigerian orphans and In July 2023, he donated N237 Million to 424 Orphanages across Nigeria.
The details on the distribution of the donation are yet to be revealed. The music star had disclosed that further information would be revealed by Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
