Alleged killer cop Beau Lamarre-Condon has “finally” cooperated with homicide detectives after nearly a week of investigations into the alleged murders of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies, according to police.

Homicide detectives this afternoon located what they believe to be the bodies of Baird and Davies at a rural property in Bungonia.

Lamarre-Condon provided information about the bodies’ location to detectives at Silverwater Jail at 11am after he obtained legal counsel, police have said.

Beau Lamarre-Condon is in Silverwater prison in protective custody.

“(Detectives) attended Silverwater Jail and spoke to the accused… as a result of that, he provided assistance to the investigation and was able to provide a location of where Luke and Jesse were,” Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty said while addressing the media.

Detectives said on Monday that Lamarre-Condon had been refusing to assist them with the search for the bodies after he was arrested and charged over the murders on Friday.

“There was an attempted interview with him (when we) charged him but this is the first time he has willingly told us information,” Assistant Commissioner Michael Fitzgerald said this afternoon.

“The accused finally obtained legal counsel this morning and we were subsequently straight out to jail and asked for his assistance.”

Human remains linked to the investigation were found at a property in Bungonia at 1pm, about 20 minutes away from where police had previously established a crime scene.

Police said two surf bags containing human remains were located along the fence line of the property.

They also said other objects relevant to the investigation were found during the discovery.

Police revealed they held grave concerns for Baird and Davies following the discovery of bloodied items in a skip bin outside Club Cronulla on Wednesday.
