A pilot is fighting for his life after a light plane crash south of Perth.
Emergency services were called to Bunbury Airport just before 3pm after the light plane crashed at the end the runway.
The pilot, the sole occupant, was trapped inside the mangled wreck.

Emergency services created a makeshift hospital beside the tarmac as paramedics worked to stabilise him.
The man was then airlifted by an RAC Rescue helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
It's understood he was operating a privately owned plane.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are not known at this stage.
