Victim Lilyana Obradovic said it was "really concerning" that it could have happened right under her nose.
"Just the fact that they're impacting multiple is really concerning," she told 9News.
"If it was one family, even that is not acceptable, but we're talking about them impacting multiple homes in the one night in various suburbs."
About four hours earlier the same night, the alleged thieves had stolen a Mercedes SUV from a home in Bulimba and were caught on CCTV driving it around the area.
The Mercedes owner, a mother of four, was at home with her son when it was taken.
