How disappointing, yet totally unsurprising, it was to receive Alberta Finance Minister Nate Horner’s statement admonishing the federal government for their new capital gains tax earlier this month. He wrote that the new policy will add a “further layer to the expanding array of federal policies harmful to savings and investment and, by extension, Canadian productivity and our future standard of living.” Read More
