A contemporary ceramics exhibition is set to take place in Preston City Centre.
The exhibition is being organised by ClayLab, a group of 20+ experienced potters based at the University of Central Lancashire.
The group, who meet every Monday evening and some on a Wednesday afternoon, pay an annual fee to gain access to the ceramics studios.
Each year, individuals submit a proposal for their work, which is assessed and a decision made on whether a place is secured.
Group member Kim Graham said: “So far, we have 16 potters taking part. The exhibition will include hand built, cast, thrown and sculpted work. We’ll also have potters making on site.
“We’d love to see as many people as possible at the exhibition.”
The ClayLab exhibition will take place at SHOP Preston at 3 Syke Street, from Thursday 13 June.
It’ll be open each Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1pm to 4pm until Saturday 29 June.
