THE Nordic Darts Masters has got off to a thrilling start – but it wasn’t great for reigning champion Peter Wright.
Snakebite was beaten 5-6 by World No 135 Johan Engstrom in the first round in Copenhagen.
PDC representatives Luke Humphries, Michael Smith, Nathan Aspinall, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross, Dimitri Van den Bergh and Stephen Bunting all secured their spot in today’s quarter-finals.
Luke Littler is not in action in Copenhagen after he withdrew due to family commitments.
An overall prize pot of £60,000 will be on offer at this year’s Nordic Darts Masters, with the winner going home with £20,000.
