Mahomes recently helped make the iced coffee brand a No. 1 bestseller on Amazon with a T-shirt promotion.

The three-time Super Bowl winner rocked a shirt emblazoned with the company’s logo during a press conference last month.

Sales of the drink skyrocketed after the stunt, with singer McCollum now getting on the action.

He posted an unboxing video to his 1.2 million followers, revealing the drink to a soundtrack of Dolly Parton’s iconic track 9 to 5.

“Thank you @patrickmahomes!” the Texas native wrote in response.

McCollum isn’t the first celebrity to show off their unboxing of the new must-have drink.

Last week Jena Sims, a Sports Illustrated model alongside Mahomes’ wife Brittany, took her own delivery.

The drink is offered in four flavors – Black, French Vanilla, Salted Caramel, and Mocha Java.

Low on calories, it combines both natural caffeine and natural flavors for a quick energy hit.

“I am proud to be part of Throne SPORT COFFEE and to launch and introduce a better iced coffee to the masses,” Mahomes says on the brand’s official website.

“We have been working on creating the perfect product for those who are always on-the-go, who are looking for a natural energy source with added benefits and I couldn’t be more excited about being in on the ground floor of building this brand.”

“I love coffee. I drink it a lot. But I don’t like to put sugar in it,” he added.

“I don’t like to put all the added stuff in there.

“So, I wanted to find a healthier version so I can help my body not have that dad bod.”

Mahomes’ star power has proved a big boost to the Throne brand.

Patrick Mahomes' endorsements

Patrick Mahomes earns over $50 million per season from his Kansas City Chiefs contract.

But the superstar quarterback also cashes in on his brand off the field.

Mahomes has a reported net worth of $70 million.

And that’s in no small part down to some of the brand he endorses.

The Chiefs star is the face of Adidas in the United States and appears in State Farm commercials.

He also pops up on adverts for Subway and Head and Shoulders.

Mahomes also became the face of energy drink Prime, which is owned by Logan Paul and KSI.

The Chiefs quarterback boasts lucrative partnerships with Adidas, Coors Light, Subway, and Head & Shoulders.

Following his t-shirt stunt at spring practice, Throne CEO and founder Michael Fedele could barely believe the sales increase.

“It’s quite the bump,” Fedele told Forbes.

“That’s how engaged and excited he is to introduce this to the masses.”

“I’ve partnered with people I believe in, and some have worked, and some haven’t worked, but I think if you have the passion, the belief, that you can make stuff happen,” Mahomes added to the outlet.

“And that’s what I look to invest in.”
