Despite always wanting to be a police officer as a child she left the force for love.

When Elisha got her dream job she thought she had made it, but that all changed when she fell in love with a convict.

Instead of staying in the force, Elisha decided to quit her dream job and become a cleaner instead.

She wrote: “We fell in love with an ex con and had a child so instead your a cleaner and get to spend more time with your family.”

The mum-of-one went on to say that the pair didn’t meet through the prison system, but met him outside of work just a week after he was released and soon fell in love.

“I didn’t know who he was until he came out of prison haha.

“We’ve been together a few years now and have a 9 month old, he’s been here the entire time,” Elisha added.

Elisha admits their love story was unexpected but wouldn’t change it for the world.

She left her job, although it’s unclear if it was because of her relationship.

Instead of working on the streets, she then moved to prison service, but quit again as it wasn’t working for her.

“Had our little girl and realised the shifts just wouldn’t work and I’d never see our daughter so left there too,” she explained.

Now the couple have been together for years and couldn’t be happier with their little family.

The clip shared to her TikTok account @elishaawallace has since gone viral with over 255k views and 8,000 likes.

People were quick to take to the comments and share their thoughts on the couple’s love story.
