The rain somehow held off and the crowds turned out in good numbers for Ribchester Field Day.
The annual event was held on Saturday, June 15, and saw the village roads closed off for the annual parade as it made its way to the local park.
Although the weather was cold for June, the event somehow managed to dodge the rain that hit many nearby towns and villages.

This year’s Field Day attracted a fantastic number of parade participants, with the standard of entries as high as it has been in many years.
And with a bar on the field for the first time, plus a host of new games for people to play, event organisers were pleased with how things had gone.
But it the event is not just about the Saturday parade and events anymore.
Friday night saw Ribchester Amateur Theatrical Society wow more than 200 people in the marquee on the park with a superb evening of show tunes, music and cabaret.
Saturday evening saw local resident Rebecca Bradshaw get the children moving in the tent with the kids disco, while local band Wild Aces closed Saturday night in the marquee with a brilliant set.
The weekend was rounded off on Sunday afternoon with the annual village tea party which was well attended and, thankfully, the sun shone for.
