An investigation is underway after the death of a 57-year-old man from Chorley.
Paul Ainscough was found dead at an address on Hollinshead Street, Chorley, with police being called at 4.09pm on Monday (24 June).
Police believe Paul was involved in an incident in the beer garden at the Stag Pub on Worden Lane in Leyland on Saturday (22 June) between 4.30pm and 7.30pm.

During that incident, he may have been pushed over. A 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident, initially on suspicion of assault, and has been released on bail.
Police are now appealing for witnesses who may be able to help with their investigation.
A spokesperson for police said: “Very sadly, Paul Ainscough, 57, was found deceased. Our thoughts are very much with his family at this distressing time.
“As part of our enquiries into Mr Ainscough’s death, we want to speak to people who were at the Stag pub, Worden Lane, Leyland, last Saturday (22nd June) between around 4.30pm and 7.30pm.
“We believe he was involved in an incident in the pub’s beer garden, and he might have been pushed over during it. Mr Ainscough was believed to have been wearing a bucket hat at the time.
“If you were in the pub or its beer garden and witnessed the incident, we urge you to get in touch.
“Specially trained officers are supporting the family and they have agreed to release a picture of Paul in the hope that this may assist people in remembering the events of last Saturday.”
