A new “home from home” nursery is due to open in Preston in mid-August.

Natures Nursery Barn is set in East Barn in Clifton Fields – between Lea and Freckleton – and is now taking bookings for children from three months to pre-school age.

Nine Carberry is in charge of the new facility which aims to follow a “curiosity approach” which Nina says involves “using lots of natural resources for children to use their imagination to create great learning experiences”.

She said: “We follow in the moment planning and look at children’s interests and enhance learning through play.

“I’m looking forward to meeting all our new families to support the learning and development of their little ones in a warm and safe environment.”

An open day is due to go ahead this Saturday 13 July at 2pm until 4pm.

Nina has four children of her own and is an SEN mum. She has worked in childcare for almost 20 years.
