The Cartford Inn in Little Eccleston has been named the best in England at the AA Hospitality Awards 2024.
The bar, restaurant and hotel won Inn of the Year.
Originally a 17th century coaching inn, The Cartford Inn is located on the River Wire and has views across to the Bowland fells. The inn is run by Patrick, Julie and family, with Taste Lancashire Ambassador Chris Bury as chef.
A spokesperson for The Cartford Inn said: “This accolade is a testament to the incredible effort and dedication of our entire team, who work tirelessly to deliver our unique brand of hospitality.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful suppliers who provide us with the finest local produce, and to our loyal customers for their unwavering support.
“In these challenging times for the hospitality industry, this recognition is especially meaningful and a much-needed boost. Here’s to continued excellence, and more and more love and laughter at The Inn, yours and ours.”
The Cartford Inn is no stranger to awards, having previously been named Pub of the Year 2020 in the Sawday’s Pub Awards and Foodie Hotel of the Year 2021 by The Times.
