The Lancashire Festival returns for its fifth outing at Miller Park later this month.

The family-friendly festival will take place on Saturday 27 July. Gates will open at 11am for ten hours of entertainment celebrating local arts and culture, supplemented by food, drink and market vendors.

Headlining the main stage will be Preston-based party band Neon Love, bringing sounds of the 80s with support from the likes of Em-Lou, Cadaver Beach, Usual Suspects and DJ Clumsy.

Organiser – and Savick resident and circus performer – Joshua Holden told Blog Preston: “We’re not the type of event Preston typically would get.

“People should expect bustling festival vibes. Grab some free costumes from our fancy dress party box for your little ones, join in on a Bollywood dance class, or run away with the circus for the afternoon.

“Alternatively, get super high energy with carnival teams showcasing cultural dance and music, bringing the biggest beats and the brightest costumes.”

The special act for this year’s festival is the Britain’s Got Talent rollerskating duo Rosie and Adam.

“We’re beyond excited to have landed this incredible act amongst our lineup,” said Joshua. “They’ll be putting on a mesmerising display of circus, roller skating and danger! This type of act is one of the things that makes LancsFest stand out.”

The Lancashire Festival is being sponsored by Mollie Elise Aesthetics, Preston Masonic Group, and The Continental.

Tickets are available online for £2 plus booking fee, or can be bought for £3 at the gate.
