Chaos at Paris Olympics as athletes flee after fans ‘invade pitch and throw firecracker’ just hours into opening event

ARGENTINA stars had firecrackers thrown their way as fans invaded the pitch at the Paris 2024 Group B opener.

The Copa America winners scored a last minute 116th minute equaliser through Cristian Medina to draw 2-2 with Morocco at the Paris Olympics.

The Olympic’s draw has placed Morocco and Argentina in Group B alongside Iraq and Ukraine.

The fiesty encounter took place at the Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium in Saint-Etienne, which Moroccan fans filled to the brim.

And just as the game ended with a chaotic equaliser – the Moroccan faithful took it too the next level.
