A new Co-Op store has opened creating 16 new jobs in Chorley Road.
The new 2,500 square feet store is between Bamber Bridge and Walton-le-Dale and includes Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats options as well as a Costa Coffee Express machine.
A free-to-use cash machine and InPost Locker are also part of the new shop development.

Pear Tree Co-Op store manager, Graham Warnock, said: We have had a great response. The whole team is delighted to have the opportunity to launch Co-op’s newest store – we are now enjoying welcoming our members and customers into their brand-new Co-op.
“Our aim is to operate at the heart of local life, and we have worked to develop the range, choice and added services to create a compelling offer to serve our community, conveniently.”
The new shop is open 7am-10pm each day including weekends.
