As we near the end of the year, the company has started ramping up its marketing, and it’s about to officially reveal the release date.

Unfortunately for EA, though, it looks like somebody else got there first, as a new announcement video seems to have leaked early revealing the release date for The Veilguard.

The new trailer, which seems to be the same one set to be released in a few hours, is very short, but it shows a montage of cutscenes and gameplay, most of which we’ve seen before.

It ends with the announcement of the release date — October 31, 2024

We knew that the game would be releasing this year, but many fans were expecting it would release in November or even December.

Fans had speculated that it could have been released on the 10-year anniversary of the last game, which would have seen it released on November 18.

Dragon Age is an RPG series that is widely beloved by gamers, with three games in the series having been released to date.

The first game was released back in 2009, with follow-ups coming in 2011 and 2014, respectively.

The last game in the series, Dragon Age Inquisition, was especially popular among fans, and was the biggest launch in the history of developer Bioware.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard was met with mixed reactions when it was first shown off with a stylised trailer, but its second showing was received much better.

Fans were even more excited when Dragon Age: The Veilguard was confirmed to be coming to the Steam Deck, so fans could play the game on the go.
