BARRY HEARN OBE and Andy Goldstein are in action in the US Open Pool Championship 2024 RIGHT NOW.
Hearn stole a rack from Konrad Juszczyszyn but lost 9-1 in his opening encounter, while Goldstein had a tough task against 1996 world champion Ralf Souquet and was promptly whitewashed.
However, despite their opening round losses, both players have another crack at glory as the tournament is a double elimination, meaning they need to win or face going home.
