Davido Paid the Police to Arrest Me – Dammy Krane Cries Out

Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has accused fellow artist Davido of using his influence to get him arrested.

The allegations from the “My Dear” crooner, which emerged on August 21, 2023, have stirred up controversy and raised questions about corruption and abuse of power within the Nigerian music industry.

Taking to his account on X on Wednesday, Dammy Krane made a series of explosive tweets, asserting that Davido bribed authorities to accuse him of involvement in a scam related to Flutterwave and cryptocurrency.

Dammy Krane, who has previously faced legal issues, drew a parallel between his current plight and the tragic case of the late artist Mohbad.

He suggested that just as Mohbad’s tragic death highlighted serious issues, his own situation should also prompt a call for justice. “That’s what happened to Mohbad; he didn’t have to die before people seek justice. Nigeria, please don’t fail me,” he wrote.

Dammy Krane further criticized the justice system and the police, accusing them of being manipulated by Davido’s wealth and influence.

“No need to wait for something to happen before shouting for justice,” he added. “Nigeria, I’m being arrested and oppressed for seeking justice.

They are trying to set me up because they can’t hold anything on me. Meanwhile, @davido is the one scamming with crypto.”

The singer also took a swipe at Davido’s supporters, dismissing negative comments as coming from “delusional fans/family.”
