Missing Preston boy last seen in city centre 10 days ago

A 15-year-old boy who has been missing for 10 days has triggered a police search.

Preston Police are appealing to find John Junior Carmichael – who also goes by the name of JJ – who was last seen around 1.30pm on Tuesday 13 August.

John was last seen around Lawson Street in Preston city centre and was heading towards the railway station.

He is described as 5’6″, slim, with brown hair in a bowl cut style.

Police say he was last seen wearing a black Nike jacket, black t-shirt, navy Nike joggers and black Nike trainers. He has links to Blackpool, Lancaster, Morecambe, Blackburn and Cumbria.

He might be in the company of a teenage bouy or girl.

For any immediate sightings the public are asked to call 999 or if anyone has information on where he might be then please call 101 quoting log 1276 or 13 August 2024.
