Nigerian singer, Adedamola Adefolahan, better known as Fireboy DML, is gearing up for a major release with his highly anticipated fourth studio album, “Adedamola.” The artist, renowned for his chart-topping hits and soulful sound, took to Instagram on Sunday, August 25, to unveil the album’s tracklist, revealing a dynamic collection of 14 new songs set to drop on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
The album features a stellar lineup of collaborators, including Nigerian music icons Seun Kuti, Lagbaja alongsideLojay, DJ Spinall, and the internationally acclaimed Jon Batiste. The diverse mix promises to bring a fresh and exciting energy to Fireboy’s distinctive Afro-Life sound.
The album features tracks like ‘Iseoluwa’, ‘Call Me’, ‘Ecstasy’, ‘Hell and Back’, and ‘Letting Go’, as well as ‘Back N Forth’, ‘Ready’, and ‘Wande’s Bop’. Additional highlights include ‘Change Your Life’, ‘Obaa Sima’, ‘Need Me’, ‘Yawa’, ‘Everyday’, and ‘Jon’s Interlude’.
Fireboy DML, who is signed to YBNL Nation and Empire Distribution, first captivated audiences with his 2019 debut album “Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps”. His hit single “Scatter” from that album even made it to the FIFA 21 game soundtrack. Over the years, he has continued to make waves, with numerous accolades over his career.
Describing his music as “Afro-Life,” Fireboy DML draws inspiration from contemporary artists like Jon Bellion, Passenger, and Wande Coal. In a recent announcement, he hinted at a personal journey he plans to embark on following the release of “Adedamola,” signaling an exciting new chapter in his career.

“Adedamola” is set to be his fourth studio album after the release of his debut album ‘Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps” in 2019, Sophomore album “Apollo” in 2020 and third studio album “Playboy” in 2022.
