African Music act, Divine Ikubor, aka Rema, has touched down his hometown of Benin, Edo state, ahead of his much publicized homecoming concert.
This news was released by the artiste’s record label, Mavin, via their X account on Tuesday.
In a video captioned “Benin, your illustrious son; The Prince of Afrobeats – Rema is Home!” the Artiste could be seen making his way out the jet that conveyed him to the ancient city.
The Singer had first announced news about the conert back in July to the admiration of expectant fans.

The homecoming concert is billed to hold on the 30th of August this year at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
This will not be the first time the Afrobeats sensation was scheduled to perform in Edo state.
Plans by the Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki, to have the Singer perform, back in December 2023, were scuppered due to health related challenges.
