The Promise Land Festival is gearing up to be an unmissable event this year, with Nigerian musical royalty Rema, Asake, and Omah Lay headlining the three-day extravaganza scheduled for October 4-6. This exciting lineup promises to deliver an unforgettable celebration of Afrobeats, showcasing its vibrant and infectious energy on a global stage.
Headlining this year’s festival are Nigerian superstars Rema, Asake, and Omah Lay, who will bring their dynamic Afrobeats rhythms to the stage. Rema will perform on the second day of the festival alongside Jorja Smith, Miguel, and Fiji, while Asake and Omah Lay will close the festival with an energetic finale featuring hip-hop icon Busta Rhymes.
The festival’s lineup also includes a stellar selection of Nigerian artists such as the musical ensemble Compozers, genre-blending producer Sarz, and other music stars Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi, Tiwa Savage, Victony, Ruger, and BNXN.
But the Promise Land Festival isn’t just about Afrobeats. The event proudly embraces a multitude of musical styles and cultures, featuring performances from African talents like Black Sherif, King Promise, DBN Gogo, Major League DJz, Young Stunna, and Uncle Waffles.
This impressive lineup highlights the growing global influence of Afrobeats, a genre that has been making waves worldwide. The genre’s international acclaim was further cemented in 2023 when the Grammy Awards introduced the Best African Music Performance category, with South African star Tyla taking home the inaugural trophy .
