Officers from Chorley’s Neighbourhood Policing team then attended a nearby address and seized the bike.

In a separate incident last Thursday (5 September) officers seized another bike which was being ridden anti-socially near Chorley Hospital.

John Scott, Neighbourhood Inspector for Chorley, said: “It’s great to see that two vehicles which have been causing nuisance to local residents have been taken off the streets and will no longer be able to cause issues for those living in the area.

“We will continue to work diligently to target off-road motorbike riders who are breaking the law. If you have these kinds of issues in the area where you live, we urge you to tell us about them so that we can continue to work with our partner agencies to tackle them.”
