ADRIAN Lam hopes to see Tom Amone sitting down on the job as Leigh aim to secure a play-off place.
For that would mean he is copying Manchester City star Erling Haaland’s scoring celebration once again.
The prop hopes tonight’s meeting with St Helens is not his final game before moving to NRL side Canterbury as defeat will leave the Leopard vulnerable to slipping out of the top six.
So seeing him sit down and copy the Norwegian – who sent him a signed shirt in the week – will go down very nicely.
Lam said: “If he crosses the try line, I’ll sit down for him myself!
“I don’t know where it’s come from. I think it’s something to do with his young son but that’s pretty exciting for him to have that relationship with him.
“When he first did it, I wondered, ‘What the hell are you doing>’ He doesn’t cross the line that often, so I thought it might have been a brain snap!
“Ton’s quite emotional, when anyone scores. You can see he’s jumping in the air and that’s because he’s a competitor, I love that about him.

“Tom’s been awesome for us and these are the big games where he’s really excelled.”
Points difference means Saints are pretty much secure in the top six after a season ruined by injuries to key players.
But boss Paul Wellens knows Konrad Hurrell, who had major neck surgery that ended his campaign, wants to play on.
Whether that will be wearing the red vee remains to be seen as he said: “Everything’s gone great and should Konrad want to play again, absolutely he’ll be able to.
“And that’s Konrad’s desire. He’d love that to be with us – that’s why we need discussions sooner rather than later.
“He’s an important part of our club and this team. That’s why I’m desperate to keep him around, he’s such a positive influence.
“I’m pretty confident Konrad wants to remain a Saints player. He’s a player I’d love to keep around but we can’t wait. That’s not fair on Konrad.”
