The finalists for Preston’s High Street Heroes 2024 have been revealed.
Organised by Preston BID and supported by Visit Preston, the awards celebrate the outstanding individuals and businesses that make the city centre thrive.
This year, over 61,000 people cast their votes across 16 categories, showing the pride and support residents have for their local high street.
Among the finalists are beloved pubs, independent shops, and customer service champions.

A Preston BID spokesperson said: “The votes are in, and the winners have been determined by the public.
“Nominees received a whopping 61,000 votes in this year’s competition, recognising the positive impact they continue to make in Preston.
“A huge thanks to everyone who voted, and congratulations to all the finalists.”
The shortlisted nominees will be invited to an awards ceremony on Wednesday 30 October at The Guild Lounge.
The full list of finalists for the 16 categories is below. New category, The Dougie Lowe City Ambassador Award, will be awarded on the night in tribute to the Winedown founder who sadly died in August.
