Peter reflects on the city’s industrial past and includes a trip to the Ribble Steam Railway Museum at the Docks as one of his key things to do.
He also visits Fulwood Barracks and the Lancashire Infantry Museum to see the Salamanca Eagle a trophy captured from Napoleon and is regarded as a ‘national treasure’.
His foodie pics are Angelo’s in Avenham Street and Fino Tapas, now within Plau.
The Bright Lights, Big Cities book is available to order on Amazon.
