If you’re a dog lover, you know that Halloween in Montreal isn’t just about trick-or-treating. It’s also a golden opportunity to fawn over adorable pooches dressed in the cutest costumes.

This year, one of the best ways to enjoy costumed canines is by attending Montreal’s ‘Pawlloween Pawty 2024,’ featuring the first-ever ‘Halloween Costumed Dog Parade.’

Organized by the Association du Parc canin d’Outremont in collaboration with Pawesome Concierge, the event aims to “bring together Montrealers, pawrents and non-pawrents, to celebrate Halloween with their canine friends,” according to a press release.

Participants plan to gather at Place Alice-Girard at 1 p.m., with costumed pups taking to the streets at 2 p.m. as they parade to Mali Park. The parade is expected to reach Mali Park between 2:30 and 3 p.m.

In addition to the parade, an Instagram post by Parc Mali Outremont promises photobooths, prizes and more.

You can register to attend or participate for free here! Otherwise, check out the Facebook event for more details.

It’s time to un-leash the spooky season spirit, so fetch your pooch a costume and get ready for a furtastic Howl-o-ween pawty you won’t soon forget!
