A key road near Bamber Bridge is to be closed for some time after a serious crash.
Police were called at around 1.45pm today (22 October) to reports of a crash on Gough Lane, close to Tramway Lane at Walton Summit.
Officers attended and found there had been a two-vehicle collision on Gough Lane. The driver of one of the vehicles has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, Blog Preston understands.

As a result of the crash, Tramway Lane is closed between the junction of Kellet Lane and Four Oaks Road. The road will be closed for some time, police said.
A spokesperson for police said: “We want to update you and let you know that Tramway Lane, junction with Kellet Lane and Four Oaks Road is currently closed due to a road traffic collision.
“We anticipate that the road will be closed for some time whilst we assess the situation.”
