Students at the University of Central Lancashire are organising a unique public fashion event to raise money for Chorley charity Inspire Youth Zone.
Realm of Reverie, organised by final year fashion promotion and marketing students as part of their studies, promises to “transport guests into a dreamlike world of creativity and elegance.”
Visitors to the event this Thursday (28 November) will take part in an immersive fashion show experience with themed zones of water and nature, alongside textured sensory walls.
They can also shop local at a variety of pop-up shops and take part in a raffle with the chance to win prizes including Stocks Hall Spa access, booth and Prosecco at Baluga Bar and golf for two people at The Flower Bowl.

All funds raised by the final year fashion promotion and marketing students will go to Inspire Youth Zone, a Chorley charity that provides a safe and nurturing environment for more than 5,000 young people.
Kayleigh Atkinson is one of the event’s organisers. She said: “We’ve worked really hard to create a special and unique fashion event that will really capture the imagination of the attendees.
“With Christmas around the corner, it presents a great opportunity to buy gifts that can’t be found elsewhere at our pop up stalls and of course, visitors will be supporting a very worth local charity at the same time.”
The event will run across two slots on Thursday 28 September – 5.30pm to 7pm, and 7.30pm to 9pm – in the Media Factory on the Preston Campus.
Priced at £10 per person, tickets are available on Eventbrite. For more information about the event, email Kay at kaatkinson2@uclan.ac.uk.
