Roads in Ashton-on-Ribble are closed due to a serious road traffic collision.
The incident, first reported to Blog Preston by witnesses at around 9.15pm this evening (30 November), has closed Fylde Road and a number of nearby roads.
The roads will be closed for some time while emergency services investigate the incident, police have said.

Fylde Road is closed around the junction to Aqueduct Street with police also stating that Brook Street and Shelley Road are affected.
A spokesperson for police said: “We want to update you and let you know that Fylde Road and Brook Street to Aqueduct Street junction with Shelley Road is currently closed due to a road traffic collision.
“We anticipate that the road will be closed for some time, whilst we assess the situation.
“In the meantime, we’d recommend looking for an alternative route or avoiding the area and driving carefully, leaving plenty of extra time to get to your destination.
“We’ll keep tabs on what’s happening and we’ll update you here once the road is open. As always, thank you for your patience.”
