Engineers are at work restoring power to part of Euxton after a fallen tree crushed power lines.
Electricity North West has crews on site after a large tree fell and broke an electricity pole.
It is not known at this stage how many homes are affected by the outage.

The fallen tree came down near Dawber’s Lane during Sunday (8 December) morning as strong winds from the tail-end of Storm Darragh continue to be experienced.
A spokesperson for Electricity North West said: “Customers in Euxton are currently experiencing a power cut after a large tree fell onto our overhead line and broke a pole.
“Our teams are on their way to carry out repairs.”
Around 26 properties are without power as a result and it’s estimated to be back on by 3.30pm on Sunday. Postcodes affected are PR7 6EX, PR7 6EQ, PR7 6EG, PR7 6EH and PR7 6DZ.
