Police shut Guild Way flyover due to ‘concern for safety’

A major route out of Preston city centre towards Penwortham has been shut during Friday evening.

Preston Police closed the Guild Way flyover to traffic coming out of the city.

The flyover is shut due to a ‘concern for safety’.

Traffic heading into Preston from Penwortham is being diverted off towards Preston Docks.

The incident took place around 7.30pm on Friday (20 December).
