MELANIA Trump believes she was misunderstood by some people during her husband’s first term in office.
The former first lady sat down with Fox News star Ainsley Earhardt in an interview that aired early on Monday.

Earhardt sat down with Melania just a week before her husband, Donald, is to be inaugurated as the 47th president.
She asked how her second stint as first lady would be different from the first.
“I feel I always me the first time I was as well,” Melania replied.
“I feel people didn’t accept me, maybe. They didn’t understand me – the way they do now.
“Maybe some people see me as a wife to a president,” she said.
“I’m standing on my own two feet. Independent. I have my own thoughts.
“I have my own yes and no.”
She also revealed that she doesn’t always agree with Trump, but she said any disagreements are OK.
But, she warned that she always shares her thoughts with him.
“Sometimes, he listens. Sometimes he doesn’t, and that’s OK.”
During her husband’s successful presidential campaign, Melania remained out of the limelight.
But, she did appear at Trump’s rally in Madison Square Garden – which took place just days before Election Day.
And, she also appeared with the president-elect at a victory party held in Florida.
Trump and Melania both attended Jimmy Carter’s funeral last week at the Capitol in Washington, DC.
She also admitted some people misunderstood her during her first stint as First Lady[/caption]
