Pluto TV already offers a huge range of extra content at no cost, such as MTV shows, South Park and even movies such as the Hunger Games saga which was added recently.
But now the site has signed a new deal to delight sports fans.
A MODUS Super Series Darts channel is launching on Pluto TV, taking advantage of the sport’s hugely growing popularity.
It will show a mix of live matches with non-PDC Tour Card holders and expert analysis, as well as taking viewers behind-the-scenes.
Top of the agenda is the Super Series Tournaments, which features 104 live matches every week.
And this Saturday (January 18), English legend Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor will appear for a special live Legends League Finals Night show.
As part of the deal, Pluto TV is also becoming title sponsor of MODUS Super Series.
The MODUS Super Series Darts channel will be available on Pluto TV in the UK, as well as Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Italy, France, Finland, Spain and Canada.
Fans could previously catch MODUS Super Series Darts on SportyStuff TV but the channel closed down last year, leaving it to YouTube only.
It’s the first time the series has been back on TV screens since the closure.
“Darts has recently captivated millions of fans worldwide, becoming a true sport phenomenon,” said Olivier Jollet, Executive Vice President at Pluto TV.
“Fans can look forward to an exciting array of content, including live tournaments and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, all available for free.”
Chris Murphy, CEO and executive producer of the MODUS Super Series, added: “This partnership is a testament to the growing popularity of darts and our commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible entertainment to viewers and opportunities for players to tread a pathway to the very top.”
What else is on Pluto TV?
Pluto TV is owned by Paramount, so you can expect content from its other brands, such as MTV, Comedy Central, Channel 5, Nickelodeon and more.
This includes long-running reality series like Geordie Shore and Catfish.
The firm recently signed a deal with US network NBCUniversal to add even more free shows, such as detective comedy-drama Psych.
New Pluto TV 80s Action and Pluto TV Sci-Fi Series channels were added too.
