Crash shuts A6 near Barton Grange Garden Centre

Police have shut the A6 near to Barton Grange Garden Centre due to a serious crash.

Emergency services are at the scene in Claughton-on-Brock.

The crash is between the Rogers Garage at New Lane turn and the garden centre and leisure complex The Flower Bowl.

The A6 is currently closed northbound and southbound direction.

A police spokesperson said they ‘expect the road to be closed for some time’.

The crash took place around 7.30pm on Friday (17 January).
