A 28-year-old man had to be rescued by police after trying to escape from them by jumping into the ocean in South Australia.
Officers say they spotted the man driving on the wrong side of the road on Beach Road in Grange, 11km from Adelaide at 1.20am and tried to stop him.
The driver allegedly kept trying to get away by heading through back streets.

He clocked 100km/h in a 60km/h zone along Military Road, SA Police say.
When his car collided with the curb the driver allegedly then fled on foot.
Police allege he ran onto the beach and swam into the sea.
The water police rescued the man when he began to struggle.
He was arrested for a string of offences including driving to escape police in a pursuit and speeding.
He was taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
His car has been impounded and he was bailed to attend court at a later date.
