KANYE West has suggested he is no longer a billionaire after losing $2billion in just one day.
The rapper, 47, revealed his friend had to pay for his dinner because his assets had been frozen amid him being cancelled.

Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband lost a lot of money following his anti-Semitic online rants that saw Adidas and other furious brands cut ties with him.
Speaking about his cash flow issues on The Download podcast, Kanye told Justin Laboy: “We never was unrich.”
Justin shared: “What was the restaurant we were at that closed down? Beauty & Essex.
“We were going there to eat every day. I remember when they froze your accounts. Man, I remember I had to put my little American Express down. That was the first time I saw a billionaire have no access to money.”
Kanye replied: “It was crazy. It was like some Black Mirror episode. They wanted to do everything to prove to me that I didn’t have the right to say anything out loud that went against the people who own the media and the people who own the music industry – the people that Drake is going up against right now, ironically.
“We can say anything. We can say, ‘I’ma kill you, we can say, ‘I’ma sell drugs to you,’ we can say, ‘I do drugs,’ but you can’t message that. You can’t even message on a song because there’s censorship still.”
Later on in the episode the topic of money comes up again, as Kanye mused: “When you got money, you go in and prove you have got money.
“I remember when I lost all the money, I was like ‘damn I better start dressing like a millionaire now’, which actually means more jewellery. When you are a billionaire you can dress super bummy.”
Laughing he added: “A n***** is never going to sell his chain, it doesn’t matter, n***** sell their children before their chain.”
His comments are somewhat surprising as just last week the dad-of-four was boasting about his wealth and reported billionaire status.
Ye posted a message from Eton Venture Services, which read: “In 2025, Ye’s net worth stands at $2.77 billion USD as confirmed by Eton Venture Services.
“The valuation is based on his music portfolio and his sole ownership of the Yeezy mark.”
Appearing to hit back at his critics as he announced his billionaire status, Kanye added in the caption: “LAA LA LA LA.”
The music star – who caused controversy with his new wife Bianca at the Grammys last weekend – was said to have been ‘cancelled’ in October 2022 when he threatened the Jewish community in a tweet.

He went on to release a line of “White Lives Matter” t-shirts with his company Yeezy, leaving celebrities, friends and fans furious.
Months later, he went on another anti-Semitic rant where he told podcast listeners he “liked Hitler” and saw “good things” in him.
Kanye was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2016 after a psychiatric emergency – and was prescribed medication to keep the condition under control.
That same year he shocked fans by making the announcement that he was £53million in debt.
He confessed at the time: “I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt.
“Please pray we overcome… This is my true heart…
“My dreams brought me into debt and I’m close to seeing the light of day.”

On Friday, October 6, 2023, The Daily Mail reported Kanye and Bianca wed on December 20, 2022.
The couple tied the knot under a “confidential marriage license” in the state of California.
The two wed in Palo Alto, California, according to the document.
The wedding came just one month after Kanye and Kim Kardashian finalized their divorce.
