A new competitive socialising venue and beer hall in Preston city centre is set to open Friday 21 February.

Located in the basement of the LimeHouse building – which is also home to the Switch nightclub and the nearby Gamer X venue – the new venue is to be called Billie Rox.

A spokesperson for Billie Rox say it will offer a unique day to night experience, merging live entertainment, drinks and sport with competitive socialising games all under one roof.

The ten thousand square feet venue will host a wide range of games including axe throwing, tech darts, shuffleboards, karaoke booths and more as well as live entertainment and music every weekend on the Billie Rox stage.

Showing sport seven-days-a-week on ten screens across the venue, Billie Rox will host live entertainment on stage every Friday from 7pm and all day Saturday from 3pm.

Customers can enjoy a wide range of beers on tap as well as a new cocktail menu and the cities largest range of non-alcoholic drinks.

The venue will open seven-days-a-week and plans to be a central hub for entertainment and
competitive socialising in the city.

Plans to open Billie Rox come as the new council-backed Animate leisure and entertainment complex next-door has plans for a ‘competitive socialising’ unit but this remains the only un-let space within Animate. Animate and the new cinema is due to open to the public on Friday 21 February.
