The event welcomed the local community and staff, students and their families.
Mr. Jeremy Duke, the headmaster of the school said: “It not only reaffirms our commitment to providing high-quality Early Years education, but it also shows the commitment and dedication of our pupils, parents and staff who have shown their loyalty and resilience since the arson attack in 2022.”

He continued: “Our new Nursery and Preschool will help to address the pressing need for Nursery places in Preston since the influx of new houses being built across Lancashire.”
A special thanks was given to the Rosslee Building Society as it emerged from demolition to bring a sense of community to the people of Preston.
The new preschool and nursery facility now contains two large open rooms, a dedicated wet playroom, a separate sleeping area and a canopied outdoor playing space.
In a clip about the opening event, Highfield Priory thanked everyone for making the day special.
They added that they “can’t wait” to play in their new facilities.
