One of Preston’s two New Look stores will close next month, it has been confirmed.
The high street retailer, which this week confirmed the closure of 26 stores in Ireland, will close its store at St George’s Shopping Centre on 20 March.
A note in the window reads: “Preston St George, thanks for having us. But it’s time to say goodbye. This store will be closing on Thursday 20th March.”

A QR code then points customers in the direction of its website for a ‘feel-good fashion fix, 24/7.”
There is no indication that the store at Deepdale Retail Park or others in the UK are affected and reports indicate that the retailer is gradually closing some stores as leases expire.
