Investigation underway after rape reported at hotel on Garstang Road

An investigation has been launched after police received a report that a woman had been raped at a hotel in Fulwood.

Police were called to the property on Garstang Road at 4.25am on Saturday (22 February) after reports that a woman had been raped.

A police presence was seen close to the property over the weekend as officers investigated the incident. Police say the woman is being supported.

A spokesperson for police said: “We were called at 4.25am on Saturday 22nd February to a property on Garstang Road, Fulwood, to a report that a woman had been raped.

“Our officers are investigating, and the woman is being supported. Anyone with information, please contact 101, quoting log 0171 of 22nd February.”
