Three people were speaking with police overnight after a woman was shot dead in Toowoomba.
The 27-year-old Wilsonton woman was found with multiple gunshot wounds on the footpath of Christmas Street about 1.50pm yesterday (2.50pm AEDT).

The woman was rushed to Toowoomba Hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Two men at the scene were also hurt, one with a head injury, but were not taken to hospital.
West Street between Mort and Bridge streets were put in lockdown and residents asked to remain indoors until officers declared there was no longer a threat to public safety.
Darling Downs District Acting Detective Inspector Brian Collins said there were "three associates of the victim who are assisting us with inquiries".

Footage from the scene showed at least one person in a blue forensics suit and in handcuffs.
Officers were tracking down a vehicle of interest, which was found later in the afternoon.
Collins said the thoughts of the police were with the woman's family.
"Our thoughts go out to her family, it's devastating when someone loses their life in this way," he said.
He described the shooting, which took place within 150 metres of a school, as "extremely alarming".
"We're talking in the early afternoon just around school pickup time," he said.
Collins said police and ambulance staff would be given the appropriate help and guidance after the confronting scene.
Police asked anyone who was in the area between 1.30pm and 2pm and might have dashcam footage or information to come forward.
Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
