
An on the run sex offender has been arrested in Preston after spending nearly a month evading authorities.
Preston Police were appealing for information to help find Adam Garner-Jones who was wanted for failing to comply with sex offender notification requirements.
The 26-year-old was arrested in the city on Monday 3 March.

Garner-Jones, of no fixed address, has since been charged with failing to comply with notification requirements of the sex offenders register.
He is due to appear at Preston Magistrates Court today (Wednesday 5 March).
Preston Police added: “Thank you to everyone who shared and helped with the appeal, it is very much appreciated.”
