FANS have called out ESPN for not including WNBA star Caitlin Clark in an all-time greats list.

The network posted a video about Clark over the weekend ahead of the NCAA women’s basketball March Madness tournament.

The 23-year-old wasn’t included in an all-time greats list from ESPN – and fans have scolded the network as a result[/caption]

On Sunday, ESPN posted an 11 minute-YouTube clip that was headlined, “Is Caitlin Clark The Greatest of All Time in College Basketball?”

During the video, analysis concluded that Clark isn’t the greatest women’s college player of all-time and even determined that she isn’t in the top five in history.

The two opinions, mainly the latter one, are rather bold, as Clark is the sport’s all-time leading scorer and a two-time player of the year.

Unsurprisingly, the video received plenty of negative criticism from fans, whether it was about snubbing Clark or for also using a “clickbait” headline.

“This is an individual ranking. To not have the greatest scorer in history in the top five is a joke,” one wrote.

“Can‘t make clicks without putting Caitlin Clark in the title and on the thumbnail LOL. And that‘s exactly why she‘s the GOAT,” another commented.

” Zero people would have watched this without the click bait Caitlin on the cover,” a third added.

“Caitlin Clark is the single greatest individual player in the history of women’s college basketball. Period,” a fourth stated.

“This list is ridiculous,” a fifth said.

ESPN host Sam Ravech and analysts Ari Chambers and Alexa Philippou were tasked with the Clark question.

Chambers and Philippou agreed that the Iowa Hawkeyes icon was phenomenal, but her failure to not win a championship kept her out of their top five.

The panel believed that the all-time top five was led by Breanna Stewart, followed by Candace Parker, Diana Taurasi, Maya Moore, and Cheryl Miller.

“Love Caitlin, love how she has transcended the game … But in the open we said ‘What makes a top=five player? Winning,” Chambers said.

“The only thing, the only strike against Caitln Clark, is that she has not won a national championship.

'A little more motivation'

Caitlin Clark insists her Paris 2024 snub has made her even more hungry and determined to realize her Olympic dream.

The WNBA rookie sensation was left off the roster for this summer’s Olympics in a shock to many.

Clark will not be in Paris this summer, but she’s keeping her head up

“I think it just gives you something to work for,” Clark said.

“It’s a dream, hopefully one day I can be there. I think it’s just a little more motivation.

“You remember that. Hopefully, when four years comes back, I can be there. I’m excited for the girls that are on the team.

“I know it’s the most competitive team in the world and I know it could have gone either way of me being on the team or me not being on the team.

“I’m excited for them and I’m going to be rooting them on to win gold.”

“And that is the only thing that you can put against her, because the way that she has dominated the record books when she was at Iowa was something you could not duplicate.

Chambers then later added, “But how can you be a top-five player if you have not won a title?”

Clark hasn’t commented on the list.

She won the WNBA‘s Rookie of the Year award last year.

Clark helped the NCAA and WNBA in viewership records.

Several of her Indiana Fever games even outdrew some NBA games.
