Trump 2.0, explained
Donald J. Trump is headed to the White House again. He’ll have the help of a Republican Senate, almost certainly a Republican House, and a conservative Supreme Court that includes three justices he appointed the first time around. The former president made plenty of pledges on the campaign trail — now it’s time to see […]
Coca-Cola’s sparkling Christmas caravan is back this month — Here’s where it’ll stop in Quebec
If you’re looking for fun things to do near Montreal this November, look no further! Coca-Cola’s iconic Holiday Caravan is back for 2024, and it’s bringing a ton of holiday magic and festive fizz to Quebec this season.
Starting on November 14 in Halifax, the caravan will travel from coast to coast, ending its joyful journey in Vancouver on December 22.
Luckily for holiday-loving Quebeccers, the province is getting some serious love this year with 29 scheduled stops. At select stops, you can experience the Christmas magic up close, meet Santa, and even walk away with your very own personalized Coca-Cola can.
Coca-Cola’s jolly red truck will be decorated with thousands of twinkling lights, and, of course, Santa himself will be along for the ride, spreading holiday cheer and offering magical photo ops.
At some locations (marked with a * below), the Coca-Cola Caravan will also feature a whimsical “Giving Shoppe,” a “Magic Post Office” for sending Christmas wishes, and a “ReSparkle Forest” where you can recycle your sample cans (and other items) for a chance to win exclusive goodies.
Here’s where the Coca-Cola Caravan will be stopping in Quebec this month and next — so get ready to mark your calendars!

Quebec’s weather has forced Mont-Tremblant to postpone its 2024-25 ski season
Mont-Tremblant visitors will need to hold onto their skis just a little longer this season, as the resort has postponed the start of its 2024-25 season.
While the mountain was all set to kick off its winter fun next week on November 22, Quebec’s weather has thrown a curveball. According to Tremblant, recent temperatures have been too warm for snowmaking. The ski resort said that without enough cold weather, snowmaking opportunities have been “few and far between.”
But don’t stash away your gear just yet! The mountain resort promises the delay will be short, now planning to open about a week later, on November 28.
With colder nights in the forecast, Tremblant says it’s using this time to prepare the mountain. Extra snowguns have been installed on the lower Nansen trail to cover this area quickly, while other trails are getting similar attention. The resort said this additional effort is meant to help ensure an optimal experience when skiers finally hit the slopes.
In a message to eager skiers, the team at Tremblant shared that it is “[looking] forward to welcoming you and sharing unforgettable snowy moments.”
For those eager to kick off the season in style, Tremblant will host its annual red-carpet event at the base of the gondola on Thursday, November 28 at 8 a.m. — a fresh kickoff for a fresh new ski season.
So while it may mean a few extra days of waiting, Tremblant is putting in extra effort to make sure this season opens on a high note. With cold nights on the way, the slopes are gearing up for another unforgettable winter.
